Yesterday i was reading Time Out Amsterdam and there were these experts predicting some trends for 2012 Amsterdam. When it came to shoes, Nicoline van Enter pointed ou that we'll see "more pointed toes coming back, stuff that's really sexy".

Sexy? (!) As far as i can remember the edge of sexyness to fashionistas is still this,

But prepare youselves for the latest comeback, as in a while we're going to perceive these babies below as the ultimate fashion statement (again).

In Portugal we affectionately call them "sapatos de matar baratas ao canto da sala", which means "the killing cockroaches in the corner of the living room shoes". Just elegant things to say (nevermind, we're PIGS anyway).
