Dutch designers|Viktor & Rolf

I didn't know Viktor & Rolf were Dutch. Now i'm aware they met while studying Fashion at Arnhem Academy of Art and Design, here in The Netherlands. And these two do the kind of work i just stick immediately to. Wikipedia says they gained attention for their artistic, concept-driven catwalk presentations. 

Here's what V&R proposed for this 11 A/W season, a great example of what their work is all about.

In the backstage of this collection people could read you are a soldier in the Viktor and Rolf Army, an army to fight for beauty! This is a romantic point of view but the nice thing is that they opposed it a quite strong look in the collection, inspired in middle-age soldiers. And that's exactly what moves me on The Beauty & The Beast, that delicate line between the beautiful and the horrible that turns everything exciting and non-obvious.
